Shipping Notice

Dear Customer

Due to the rise of JBC online to become the leading ecommerce company in the UK supplying Glass bottles, Jars and closures we are reviewing our shipping and packing costs and policies. These will supersede the relevant parts of our Conditions of Use and Shipping and Returns.

This is due to customer feedback through research that has been carried out over the last few months.

We have negotiated much improved shipping rates and as a result our standard shipping costs are being reduced.

 The changes we will be carrying out will be as follows

1)      A small order charge will be imposed for orders under a certain amount. (Commence 1^st July)

2)      There will be two types of Delivery service for orders going via courier.  (Commence 1^st July)

3)      Dispatch times will be changing.  (Commence 26^th June)

4)      Discount scheme for late dispatch on your next order.( Commence 1^st July)

5)      Free Shipping will be introduced for large orders.  (Commence 31^st July)

Details of Changes.

 1)      For orders under £40.00 we will be introducing a £5.00 small order charge.  

2)      The two types of delivery  for courier delivery services.

a.       Premium Service

b.      Economy (Standard) service – This will result in lower shipping costs.

In the event you request that we deliver via our old courier company you need to select the premium service.

 3)      Dispatch Times

a.       Premium Service – Dispatch by the end of the 2nd working day for delivery on a 24 hour delivery service.

b.      Economy (Standard) Service – Dispatch within 5 working days on a 24 hour delivery service.

c.       For orders of 500 jars bottles or more they will either be:

                                                               i.      Dispatched in 3 working days and delivered on an economy service (2 – 3 days)

                                                             ii.      Dispatched in 4 working days and delivered on a premium service (Next day)

 A premium service will be introduced later for larger orders.

 4)      Our discount scheme for late dispatch is as follows

a.       Premium service discount will start at £5.00 off your next order.

b.      Economy Service discount will start at £1.00 off your next order.

c.       All orders of more than 500 jars bottles that exceed 4 working days a discount starting at 5% or £5.00 which ever is the greatest.

The discount voucher will be issued at the time of dispatch and can only be used once per customer, per order. It can also not be used in conjunction with any other offer that we have running at the time.

 5)      Free shipping will be introduced by the end of July which will be for orders over £500.00.

Notes

Our classification of a working day commences at 9am after the order is placed.

Orders will be dispatched on any of the following carriers.

Royal Mail for orders under 3kg.

DHL Business Post  for UK courier Deliveries.

Depending on your location in the UK orders may be dispatched via a Pallet Delivery Network.

International Orders will be dispatched via

DHL Business Post DPD for Courier parcels

For larger orders they will be delivered via our chosen Pallet Delivery company.

Collections will remain at no extra cost. However if we are not informed of the collection it will remain at our disposal to charge a surcharge for the collection. We require a minimum of 90 mins notification of collection. We must be contacted by phone and advised of the collection.

For all orders we will be able to advise the tracking number for your order and the company used for the delivery.
